Taifa Gas Tanzania LTD began its operations by investing in the construction of LPG storage and filling facility in Kigamboni, Dar es Salaam. This facility is to date the largest storage facility in Tanzania with a total capacity of 7,450 Metric Tons, having begun with a capacity of 1,650MT in the year 2014 and majorly focusing on LPG wholesale and export to neighboring countries of Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Burundi, South Sudan and DRC then.
In the year 2014, a decision was reached to focus on developing and growing the LPG market in Tanzania and implementation of this strategy began in the year 2016.
By the year 2018, at least twenty (20) new storage and filling stations had been constructed across Tanzania. It is also then that the Dar es Salaam facility was expanded from a capacity of 1,650 MT to 7,450 MT and remained the largest storage facility of the LPG in Tanzania.
Our LPG storage terminal and filling plant in Kigamboni-Dar es Salaam is currently the largest facility of LPG storage in Tanzania, with a capacity of 7,450MT. This is the main company storage facility which is used to receive and store imported LPG for Taifa Gas business.
It is at this facility that filling and re-filling of Taifa Gas cylinders is done for onward distribution to the retail market. Also, it is at this terminal that our bulk LPG is loaded into trucks and transported to the Taifa Gas depots spread across 20 regions in Tanzania, to facilitate easy access of the product by the consumers.
At the same time, it is at this terminal that LPG is loaded onto export trucks for export into countries such as Kenya, Uganda, Rwanda, Zambia, Congo and Burundi where we supply LPG.

REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business related fields
- Minimum 3 years experience in sales related field
- Age limit 25-28years
- Strong computer skils especially with Microsoft Office products
- Excellent communication both oral and written
- Able to work under pressure and meet tight schedules
- Able to work comfortably in a fast paced environment
- Driving skills-able to drive manual transmission sales truck with valid and relevant driving license
